In Forging the 10th Mountain Division for War, MAJ Justin Chabalko presents a history of Army adaptability and ingenuity. The brigade was responsible for security during the Oct. 15 constitutional referendum and the Dec. 15 national election. The 10th Mountain Division and the 75th Rangers cannot even compare to each other. This work examines the relationship between peace-time innovation and combat adaptation. It uses the history of the 10th Mountain Division as a historical example of how the Army faced threats in multiple areas of the world.
